HUN-REN RCNS hosts the Annual BIOEAST Bioeconomy Conference

On 6-7 March 2024, ÖMKI, BME, and HUN-REN RCNS are hosting the Annual BIOEAST Bioeconomy Conference at the HUN-REN Research Centre for Natural Sciences in Budapest, Hungary. Attendance is free, but registration is required by 23 February.

The event will highlight current issues on the development of the bioeconomy in Central and Eastern Europe through presentations and workshop sessions, in the context of BIOEAST's medium-term plans and the upcoming Hungarian EU Presidency. The event offers an excellent opportunity for networking. Among the participants, there will be delegates from the ministries of agriculture of 11 Eastern European EU Member States, as well as many representatives of the bio-based industries from our region and beyond. Thomas Narbeshuber, Vice President of BASF, and Dirk Carrez, executive Director of the Bio-based Industries Consortium, have already confirmed their attendance.
