Five ELKH researchers won a total of HUF 1.5 billion in grants within the framework of the NKFIH Frontline – Research Excellence Program for 2022.

This year applications by ten researchers won a total of HUF 3 billion in grants from the Hungarian National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH) Frontline – Research Excellence Program for 2022. Of these, five are projects by ELKH researchers, who will receive a total funding of HUF 1.5 billion from NKFIH over the coming five years.

The Frontline – Research Excellence Program provides up to five years of support to first-class researchers in the most dynamic creative phase and who wish to carry out cutting-edge international research at a Hungarian research site. The goal of the program is for talented researchers to work on a world-class research project in Hungary over the next five years that will help them to successfully participate in research proposals announced by the European Research Council (ERC).
