The Hungarian National Assembly has adopted the legislative package proposal concerning the necessary amendments to certain laws to facilitate the economic utilization of innovation and scientific results, which includes the renaming of the Eötvös Loránd Research Network (ELKH) to Hungarian Research Network effective 1 September 2023.
The name change aims to support the easy identification of Hungary's independent research network within members of the domestic and international research, development and innovation ecosystem. The Hungarian Research Network name supports the effective dissemination of Hungarian research achievements and, consequently, enhances the international visibility and recognition of both the research network and Hungary.
